Newborns are definitely my favorite age to photograph. This age can be the most difficult to photograph, but the most rewarding. For parents to be able to look back at portraits and remember their child so itty bitty brings back those amazing memories of when they first met. These moments should be captured and always remembered. The best time to contact me is before you have your baby. I will then add you to my schedule around your expected due date. It is best if these sessions are done during the first six to twelve days of life. After two weeks of age they are more likely to be disturbed while sleeping, may experience baby acne, and possibly colic. These sessions typically last three to four hours to allow plenty of time for feeding, changing and to capture those sweet, sleepy pictures. Newborn sessions will take place in the comfort of your home using natural light that would come from a large window or door.
Newborn Session Fee: $450 (This Session Fee is for photographer's time and talent at session and post-editing of photographs; the Session Fee also includes a CD containing an average of 25-30 fully edited images from your session as selected by the artist.)
*Mommy & Me ( Maternity & Newborn) and Watch Me Grow ( Mini Maternity, Newborn, Six Months, and Twelve Months) session packages available upon request.
*A $100 deposit will be required to secure your appointment & the remaining Session Fee must be received the day of the session. The deposit is non-refundable
*The Newborn Session Fee is for a newborn age three weeks and younger. Infants older than three weeks will require an additional $100 fee. And newborn twin sessions require an additional $100 fee.
